Sakura

This is the 3 project for my watercolor class.(and agaiiiiin let me state that i hate watercolor and am only taking this class for the credit)
The assingment was basically to just paint what we see and make the picture look as realistic was we could. I don't think i did a very good job. There are parts that look a bit muddy and you can tell i tried to fix things. I think parts are even a bit over worked. I've been having troubles with my block of paper too. ALTHOUGH THE EDGES ARE GLUED, MY PAGE STILL BUBBLESSSSSSSS.......and i just wanna die fuck. Thats another reason why the background looks the way that it does. When the paper bubbles, the pigment puddles in ares and then just looks weird when it dries. I tried to do some lifting but i still looks bad. In the original picture, the background is very blurry and has dark and light spots so it actually kind of works but i still don't like how it looks. The flower itself looks okay-ish. I tried harder on this then the last projects but it still doesn't look realistic i think. bleghhhhhh. The coloring of the petals are actually quite accurate to the original picture and even the little pollen looking thingys and the....what are they called, the center part, the little stem looking things the the pollen looking things are on haha.

Im not sure if i am actually done with this painting, but i need to turn it in tomorrow so it is done for now, but i might work on it again and re-submit it later
